Terms of service (also known as terms of use and terms and conditions, commonly abbreviated as TOS or ToS, ToU or T&C) are the legal agreements between a service provider and a person who wants to use that service. The person must agree to abide by the terms of service in order to use the offered service.

general

- ALL OF THE ARTWORK MADE BY ME WILL BE POSTED ON MY SOCIAL MEDIA.
- Terms of service is an agreement between artist (Highlanderro) and the client (you).
- Client is expected to read them all and then agreeing via commissioning me.
- Artist do not take responsibility for client not acknowledging their TOS.
- Clean digital reference must've been provided. If client doesn't have any, few pictures of the character and a clean color palette is required.
- For personal reasons artist can refuse taking the commission.
- Client should inform the artist if they want to use their artwork in ways other than personal (story illustrations, printed out as posters, on physical objects, as icon, banner etc.).

CREDIT

- Always credit me (Highlanderro) when posting my art.
- It can be done by linking my twitter or other social media, or typing "art made by: Highlanderro"
- You don't have to credit me every time you post art with characters I designed although you must provide proper credit when posting original art of them.
- Furthermore when adding character to character hosting sites (toyhou.se; refsheet.net) you must properly credit me as a creator.
- You may slightly edit my art though you must always make sure that my signature is visible and proper credit is provided.

PAYMENT + ETA

- Payment only via paypal.
- I accept payment after sending the sketch which must be accepted by the client.
- Upfront payment will only be accepted with exceptional cases.
- Refunds will only be made if I feel I cannot finish the commission. Client will then receive a full refund and will be able to use any partially made artwork they received via WIP'S.
- Estimated time of arrival depends on kind of commission bought. For small it's up to a week. Medium up to two weeks. Large up to few months.
- Client will always be informed about ETA while commissioning, moreover I will further inform if there will be any delays.
- Queue is public, client will be informed when I'll start making their commission. ETA does not apply to commissions in the waiting queue.
- If client needs their art to be finished earlier (various reasons) they must be willing to pay higher price which will include rush fee, the percentage of time which will be skipped.

DO'S AND DON'Ts

I'M WILLING TO DRAW:

- Any standard anthro/humanoid/feral design.
- Art showcasing love and affection, day-to-day interactions between characters.
- Any non-standard activity if enough reference provided.
- Acts of violence and hateful behavior (I WON'T BE USING SLURS ONLY CASES WILL BE THEM BEING IMPLIED AND CENSORED)
- Complicated designs and mecha parts to some extend, client must be ready to pay a small fee (up to $10) in case of really extreme examples.
- Simple backgrounds.
- Any NSFW (porn, gore, etc.) if client's over 18 and ID is provided.

I'M NOT WILLING TO DRAW:

- Moths and butterflies and any design based on them. I suffer from lepidopterophobia and I won't risk my well-being.

Disclaimer: If given character has butterfly/moth inspired wings (ex. fairies) I will consider drawing them as long as it's solid color and/or NOT inspired by monarch's butterfly wings (bright colors with black and white patterns which by now are most triggering to me)

- Racism towards any POC, in EXTREME cases I might consider SOME minorities only if ENOUGH reasoning is provided, I'll be sure my art won't be taken out of context and the art will be crucial in characters story.
- Anything with commonly known hate symbols.
- Anything related with real word tragedies, mass murders and wars.
- Anything related with politics, propaganda, current world situations. (I will work ONLY with fictional settings)

Client must always ask and make sure if I'm comfortable with drawing what they have in mind. I have full right to refuse to take commission if I will feel morally challenged while doing it, I won't like the setting or I won't feel that client is trustworthy.

Pricelist

Given prices are calculated with current minimum wage per hour in US. There's -20% discount for regular clients.

¹ Technically does not need to be a ship. It can portray characters with any kind of relationship (family, friends, enemies, guild, etc.) having a visible physical interaction with each other.
